Professor Ron Schramm has built a remarkable career at the intersection of international finance and public affairs. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs, he brings decades of research experience on the Chinese economy, international finance, and currency risk management. With a robust academic foundation—holding a bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and an M.A., M.Phil., and PhD in Economics from Columbia University—Professor Schramm has significantly influenced both teaching and research in his field.

During his tenure at Columbia Business School, where he taught a wide range of courses from econometrics and forecasting to international financial management and corporate finance, he earned prestigious accolades such as the Columbia University SIPA Teaching Award and the Chazen Institute Award for international business case writing.
