Vasyl Taras

Dr. Vas Taras is an Associate Professor of International Business at UNC Greensboro. He holds a Ph.D. in International Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics from the University of Calgary. Founder of the X-Culture Project, his research focuses on cross-cultural teams and global crowds. He serves as an editor for several management journals.

Biography
Dr. Vasyl Taras is a Professor of International Business and Department Chair at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is the Vice President-Administration of the Academy of International Business and the founder of the X-Culture Project. He holds a Ph.D. in International HR and International Business from the University of Calgary, Canada, and an M.P.A. in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. His research focuses on cross-cultural and global virtual teams and experiential approaches to international business education and development.

Dr. Taras is an Associate Editor for several top journals, including the International Journal of HRM, Journal of International Management, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, European Journal of International Management, and Cross-Cultural Strategic Management. He is also an Editorial Board Member of Journal of International Business Studies, Academy of Management Review, and Journal of World Business. With experience in academia, management, entrepreneurship, and consulting, Dr. Taras has lived, worked, and studied in over six countries.
